it's weird how you try so hard to be someone's friend, but as you watch them from the sideline, you slowly start realizing that any efforts to doing so were pointless because in reality they'll never play a significant roll in your life.
the other day my manager asked me how my brother died and for the first time in as long as i can remember i had to refrain from crying. it never really bothered me when i was younger. it sucks to think that i'm getting older and he isn't.
