It's really sad that
places like this used to exist and have since been completely erased by time (and stupid ugly highways). I can't even imagine Toronto without the Gardiner, let alone with an entire lakefront
amusement park.
In related news, the articles Wikipedia has on the
400-series highways in Ontario are surprisingly interesting (to local commuters anyway). It's late and my brain is mush and I'm sleepy but can't stop reading about highways :-[
