NOTES .
I guess you could safely say Doctor Who is my new obsession (Flashforward is quickly becoming one as well, but that's a different story): specifically, Ten/Rose. I've only started watching Who since Series 2, and even so I missed out on the first few episodes before The Age of Steel, so I definitely have some catching up to do. But in any case I'm an avid shipper of Ten/Rose (call me a sap, whatever), hence this mix was created :) I did get spoilered somewhat for what happens to them in Series 4 (damn) but I would really appreciate it if you could abstain from discussing anything from beyond Series 2, thank you! :)

For this mix I tried to pick sad, melancholic songs to convey the sadness of the parting of Rose and the Doctor at the end of Doomsday. I tried to choose songs with themes related to space, or songs which sound atmospheric and ethereal and haunting (like Glass, by Bat for Lashes). As you can see I tried to alternate viewpoints, with songs pertaining to the Doctor and then Rose. It starts out generally quite ... hopeful, I think, and then with the Muse song it lapses into the land of misery and partings. I would like to think it ends on a hopeful note as well (god I need a synonym for hopeful, lol).

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the mix. :) ♥
