perfect city/country day

We went to the fair today and it was so awesome. It passed up every day that I have had recently and went to the surreal list of awesomeness. We weren't there all day, so we didn't get miserably tired or hot. We ate fudge and a turkey leg. We looked at animals to my hearts desire. I bought a chunky lapis luzuli pendant and beads to make my own necklace at a VERY good price because the owner of the booth was flirting with me. He also seemed impressed that I wanted a gemstone that is pretty rare and uncommon. I mean who needs turquios when you can have LAPIS! He said that normally he'd charge 50-60 for what he gave me, for only 22! Perfect! It was the perfect gift to myself for my 21st birthday.

We saw sheep who looked like they had on KKK masks, which was hysterical. Albeit wrong, but funny none the less.

And then there was the concert. Cardinal Stadium was flooded. I don't think that there was an empty seat at all. We weren't very close, but you could see better if you were higher. Although Josh Turner was good, Blake Shelton blew the crowd away. Now, I have been to my share of concerts but I have never seen one like this. Everyone in the crowd was singing practically every one of his songs. And I was one of them. He kept making jokes to keep you laughing and singing songs to make you smile. It was probably the best concert I have ever seen, period.

I hate that I have to leave tomorrow. But I have a whole slew of homework to do. Have I mentioned that my math teacher is satan yet? Because she is. She is seriously crazy. We are having a test after only having 3 homework assignments! 3!

I wanted to go out with Derek or Michelle tonight too, but they are both busy. But I should probably go to bed early. I plan on leaving out after Sunday School tomorrow to come home. That way I'll have a while to work on my homework.

Here is a verse for tonight that made me think:

If being free is worth what you leave behind

And it's too late for love to change your mind

Then it's goodbye time.

I have to tell you people. My heart is weighing heavily on where to transfer to get my bachelors. I know I have all of this year. But truly this year, isn't that long. Any advice would be helpful.
