Robbie spotted Cat sitting outside of Hollywood Arts staring up at the sky. He walked over to her because it was about 8:00 and dark, and here was his red-haired best friend sitting all alone. She saw him walking towards her, and she waved in that cute way she always did. "Hi!" She gave a large smile to Robbie.

Robbie gave a confused grin. "What are you doing out here?"

"Looking at shooting stars!" Cat dazed up at the sky. Robbie didn't even bother to look at the sky. He fished his car keys out of his pocket and looked at Cat.

"Come on, I just got done with a play, and I'm going home. I'll give you a ride." His hands rushed through his bushy dark brown hair.

"Look!" Cat flashed a huge smile while pointing to the sky.

Robbie gave up his argument to give his friend a ride and looked up. It was just an airplane. "Um, Cat?"

Her face lit up. "Yeah?"

Robbie knew he was going to make her upset when he said this, but before he was able to stop himself, it had already slipped out, "Those are airplanes."

She stared, confused. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Oh...um...well..." Robbie started to say. He gulped. He hated to see Cat upset. She was a very emotional person, but that was why everyone loved her, right? He started to speak again, "Those aren't shooting stars, they're airplanes."

"Oh." Cat sadly looked down at the ground but perked up right away. "We can pretend that the airplanes are shooting stars. Come on! Make a wish with me when you see one."

Robbie gave a shy smile and sat down by her. It was adorable the way she was so emotional about things. One day, she was upset about not being invited to a dance and came over to his house. That was when they became really good friends. He said something like, "Those guys must be blind."to comfort her, and she giggled. Cat started to hang out with him more and more, not that Robbie cared. She didn't even mind Rex.

"Hey!" Robbie was interrupted from his flashback by Cat's voice. "It's an airplane! Make a wish." He laughed and said okay. He caught a glimpse of Cat closing her eyes and whispering something, and he did the same. He opened his eyes and smiled at Cat.

"What did you wish for?" He asked.

"You're not supposed to tell." Cat said in a sing-songy voice.

Robbie grinned. "What about a hint?"

Cat kicked a leg of the bench she was sitting on. "Fine, but only if you give hints first."

"Okay," Robbie started. "I wished for an adorable, bright red-haired thing."

Cat's eyes brightened, "You wished for Clifford?" She flashed a grin.

"No, I wished for you!" He instantly regreted saying it, though. "But now it won't come true." He looked down at the ground. He felt a soft peck on his cheek and stared up to find a pair of big brown eyes looking back at him.

"Or will it?" She blinked at Robbie.

Robbie was confused, but happy at the same time. "But I thought you said a wish on a shooting star won't come true if you tell someone."

Cat smiled. "But these aren't shooting stars. They're airplanes." She leaned in and kissed him. When she pulled back, Robbie was looking at her adoringly. Cat giggled.

"So what did you wish for?" Robbie stared up at the sky.

"A unicorn!" Cat replied with a cheery tone of voice. Robbie smiled at her. This was the kind of thing that made him love her.
