Trains, photography and dinosaurs...

I travelled by train down to London on Saturday. I went to the Natural History Museum to see the Photographer of the Year exhibition. It was excellent. Such unbelievably good photos of wildlife and landscapes. Plus you get to see all the other exhibits as well...which includes DINOSAURS! Yep...I still love to see how HUGE they are...or were. It's a wonderful museum...even though half the world and its kids also thought so and turned up. Oh yes...it was crowded.

The overall winner in the Photography was Canadian Paul Nicklen with the Emperor Penguins under the Antarctic ice.

There are so many more ...so if you're interested click on the link above.

This pleases my inner child...a Diplodocus...which has lived at the museum for over a hundred years.

Love the architecture of the building, it really is beautiful.

Another plant-eating giant...

I loved this...a glass replica of a sea creature...and apparently no one understands how it was made over a hundred years ago.

There is so much more and I can't do the place justice...but it's worth spending more than a few hours there if you get the chance.
