(no subject)
So many clues, yet I STILL did not connect the dots.
Clue #1: My mom kept avoiding having a discussion with me about planning my birthday.
Clue #2: Alana asked to have coffee with me this weekend, even though I was planning to see her next weekend.
Clue #3: While at Starbucks with Alana, I saw Nin walk by (but I thought she going to Vik's house or something)
Clue #4: 10 minutes later, I saw Jenn walk by, heading into Terra Nova and I wondered where she was going because the only person I knew of that she knew who lived in Terra Nova, was me.
Clue #5: Kevin rode by on his bike, at first going into the shopping complex but then I noticed he turned and went out the back parking lot and wondered where he was going because again, as far as I knew, the only person I knew who lived in Terra Nova that he could be visiting, was me.
So even with all these clues, I had no idea whatsoever that all of this was part of my surprise birthday party. Anyway, so Alana mentioned a few times she was cold (at Starbucks) and so I asked if she wanted to come back to my place (which I didn't know was part of the plan anyway). I walk in the door and I practically speechless for the first 15 minutes. My parents had organized a surprise birthday party for me behind my back! With the help of a few of my friends, of course.
So this was pretty much the most awesome surprise EVER. I have the best friends in the world.
