(no subject)
OMG! It is absolutely GOREGOUS outside!!!!! :-D I cannot wait to go out and just sit outside and probably read because I don't wanna ruin the goregous weather by throwing any form of homework in there. No way, reading my "fun" non-school related book instead.
I'm going bowling with Eliza and two of her friends this afternoon. It should be fun. I haven't been bowling in.... well.... I don't remember the last time I went bowling.... was it really senior year when I was on the varsity team??? I have no clue! Not entirely sure how my arm will be with it, but, eh, it's not as though I have to play my instruments for three hours straight later this evening.... oh wait..... I DO!
I'm staying at school for the weekend which is the first time in quite awhile. I'm skipping a scout meeting, which I don't actually want to do, but I have my dress rehearsal. My band concert is Monday, so dress rehearsal is tonight 7-10. Dress rehearsal on a Friday night..... that totally sucks! But what can you do?!
Yesterday was Eliza's birthday. We did rootbeer floats again, like freshman and sophomore year. (Didn't last year cuz it was her 21st so we went out to BJ's) And this year we didn't even make a mess!! We remembered to put the ice cream in FIRST so that you don't splash the rootbeer all over the place when plopping it in..... yeah, we're smart. But we were pretty neat.... Only the table got a little sticky because we left the ice cream out and open with the spoon laying on the table. That, and I got a little of the foam on the table. I'm smart, and in an attempt to get the foam to go down sooner so I could add more rootbeer, I blew on it, and instead of going down, it sprayed everywhere. But it was fun. She loved the shirt I got her. The whole 'Life is Good' stuff, well, there's 'Life is Crap' and they're absolutely hysterical! I got her an "Out of Coffee" one and she liked it, so I was glad. That was only half the gift, but the other half isn't here yet. I think the other half is better, but we'll see. And the shirt came in a box shaped like a little t-shirt. It was GREAT!
I think I'm gonna have a bunch of people over sometime Saturday or Sunday to do a mini sno-cone party. I restocked on syrups, so we should be good to go. And I don't actually have anything to do during Sat or Sun. I did pick up a shift at the pool Saturday night 7-10, but that still leaves me A LOT of free time with not much to do.
YAY!!!! GORGEOUS WEATHER!!!! Okay, I'm out of here to go chill outside because it is totally a sin to be inside when it's so nice outside. YAY!
