ahhh shinee fic from you! how exciting :) i really really liked this! that shinee's disbanding wasn't this big dramatic affair, that key gets the apartment (because he so would, that brat), and the fact this his and minho's relationship really develops after everyone else is gone. :3 i also liked the little details about jonghyun going solo and onew and taem going off to study and living normal lives.

Jonghyun and Kibum shriek at each other for a good part of their goodbye, and then Minho watches as Jonghyun finally gives in and bawls. “I change my mind,” he wails. “Kibum-ah.
sobbing, this is so jongkey.

“You nag a lot.”
Kibum’s laughter thrums in his chest, the warmth of his hand spreading into Minho’s cheeks. “Be glad, okay,” he says, ducking his head a little. “It means I like you.”
and this is really sweet :3 :3 :3

there is a lot I want to say about this but I'm afraid I'll sound like a deranged moron or something. but. um. I think you captured the minkey dynamic perfectly- they don't really talk to each other at all, but both of them would so be the ones to cling onto the group, the apartment, everything. I loved that key kept referring to it as his house, too. :3 and they're both just so very perfect, I don't even.

and the interlude about taemin finally getting friends outside the group (and in school, no less) warmed my heart. the poor kid. :") I keep scrolling up to reread parts of this, and it's so bittersweet I can't even take it.

I really admire the way you write for so many different groups, but your characterizations are always so spot-on no matter who you're writing about. it's amazing.

To be honest, writing MinKey was a lot harder than I thought - their relationship (or lack thereof) is just so intriguing to me, however. I'm glad you think they're in-character because that was one of my greater concerns ♥
