You know how when you're a little kid and you come up with a great idea and you think, "WOW! That's such a great idea! I just invented something!" and you experience those feelings of pride and excitement?
Well... I'm in that place right now. I just tried a "new" technique with my photography and processing that I've never tried before and have never seen done by anyone else. And I'm totally giddy. I can't wait to show it off this Saturday at Summerotica... Funny how excited I get over things I learn, being so new to photography relative to others who've been doing it for 35+ years...
Of course, as a kid you later find out that you are indeed not the first to have come up with that idea... and I wouldn't be surprised to find out that there are other photographers who have tried what I just did because it's totally cool, but for now I'm going to bask in my inventive glory and herald the show opening, so come on out and see what I've done! Even better, come out and see what my photography heroes have done! I'm certain there is going to be some amazing artistry there...
