I'm back people!!! XD
The camp was sooooooo good! I really enjoyed it!!!
Here's my "brief" summary of what I did in camp :
Day 1
First day of camp! Woo-hoo! Had to wake up really early that day. We were expected to be at school at 6 am in the morning. I booked a taxi at 5.20 am and arrived at school around 5.40 am. The school looks sooo scary in the dark. Neway, when I arrived there, I thought I was the first, but some people actually arrived earlier than me ^^;. Then we went to JB to catch our plane. The flight was delayed though. We had to wait for half an hour T_T. It took us 1 hour and 20 minutes to go to Kuching (Does anyone know that Kuching = Kucing, which means cat in both Indonesian and Malay?). After that we went straight to the camp site. We had our lunch there and I was so happy until I went to the cabin. It's not as good as I expected to be. Kinda dirty and not really new.. x_X;; but well, that didn't really ruin the fun, so I guess it's okay.. XD
The obstacle course was fun. We were divided into 2 teams and was competing against each other. We didn't get to beat the other team though.. T.T I really love doing the chicken walk and the balancing beam XD. I wonder why did some people find it scary o_0;; I found it easier than the others.. ^^;;;
Day 2
The best day of all! We did the high ropes and the flying fox today XD
I swear it was the best part of the camp. We got to walk on beams and ropes that are 10 metres above the ground! Too bad Rich wasn't able to do it. T.T He should've done it!!! >.< He really missed the best part of the camp.. T.T
After doing the high ropes, the instructors led us to a medium-sized hall where we got to do a weird game. We were supposed to cross from the side of the hall to another side without even touching the ground with the help of 3 logs and a rope. It was really harrrdddd.. T.T even Luwa said so ^^;; I fell one time while i was trying to help Loraine with the log. Again, we had to compete with the other team. However, we were able to beat the other them this time XD. Yaaay!
Afterwards, we did the low ropes. I found them a bit hard, so I just did half of the course.. XD Can't be bothered to do the rest. They're not as fun as the high ropes anyway.. XD
Day 3
Jungle trekking today. Was really muddy and slippery >.< and the worst thing is : We got lost!! T.T
Thank God we were not far from the exit path.. ^^;;
After that, we got lots of free time. I went to the beach with Loraine and Yulianna. We went searching for shells and crab holes. After a while we got bored, so we returned to our cabin and bathed. Then, we went to Shin, Jess, Yeemon and Imone's cabin. We chatted for quite a while.
Got bbq for dinner today. Rich asked me whether I'm doing the mountain climbing or the cave trip. I said I wasn't so sure. We then decided to tell each other about our decisiona on the day after.
Day 4
Was supposed to go mountain climbing this day but the school cancelled it because it was raining. Arrrgghhh! Was really dissapointed >.< Imagine it, just after I told Rich that I'm going to do it! Hrmph, they said it's too dangerous for mountain climbing T.T, which means we had to go to the Wind Caves and the Fairy caves. I didn't really like the cave trip. It's really boring.. >.<
We got to stay at the resort today XD~ (At last, we got access to proper bed, aircon, and hot water =p). The dinner at the resort was great! We had karaoke session after. It was boring. I got caught by Mr. Rodger. He told me to sit and sing. I didn't want to, so I escaped and went to the cafe instead.. XD~
Day 5
Went to the cultural village. We got to watch the traditional dance show :3 It was quite interesting actually. After that, we went to Kuching and we had, like, two and a half hours for shopping (which is sooo not enough for shopping >.<). I bought some souvenirs for my mum.. XD
I found out that they sell original Anime OST CD for only 15 ringgit (which is equivalent to S$7.. T.T;;)
Arghhhh! I should've gone with the guys.. >.< they got CDs, VCDs and DVDs for a very low price.. T.T;;
After that we went back to S'pore, and by the time we reached the school, we all think that we should have another week of camp.. XD;
