I did not invest so much time, energy, emotions and effort into this series to end like it's being suggested.
On the next to no chance that there is that one perfect happy ending, it will take the most work to get.
And I don't care.
I WILL get it if it exists.
Because Shepard's story is not ending like that.
If I check the ending spoilers in five weeks and there is no happy ending, I won't finish it. I'll save right before the final decision and I won't touch it afterwards. What's the point of BW giving so many variables if all it leads to the same three endings where there are only minor tweaks and a different coloured explosion?
Yeah, I'll still play all three over and over again because I love each and every character too much to quit, but I won't finish it. Hope is a bitch sometimes, but I'm still holding onto that tiny sliver and I'm not letting it go until I see the endings.
I'm too emotionally fragile when it comes to this series, because they are more than just a game to me.
