Weee

Ahhh, yes. Wasting my creative writing by posting here. It started as about an hour left until I had to get ready for work. It's now down to around half an hour (the whole create account process). So! This is boring already...we'll get down to the good stuff (at least, it was suggested to me that this would be an acceptable and agreeable post):

Ahh, just tried to indent. Have to use carraige returns for paragraph seperation. WEee, so exciting.

So last night I was on my way to Buffalo Wild Wings. Left around 10:10 pm, got stopped on 95 from the traffic starting around 10:20 until 11:20. Apparently, the accident involved an 18-wheeler and a car. When we finally got to the scene (the 95 bridge over the river between 17 and 3), the car was totally trashed on the side of the road. I'm sure you're wondering, like I was, why we didn't move. The 4-6 fire enginges, 8-10 squad cars, and the 5-6 ambulances took up the left three lanes. Truck was no where to be seen. That's kinda the build up.

So the first 15-20 minutes of sitting in stand still traffic was like all the rest. Shock (is this really happening?), denial (This is NOT happening), annoyance (I can't BELIVE they're doing this to ME) fear (oh yea! I wonder if they are ok. And yes, I hate to admit it, but all those things did flow into my BEFORE wondering if those in the accident were ok). After I realized we weren't going anywhere I decided to read my book a little bit. Had my car light not scared me by dimming and returning to normal intermitently, I would have read the entire time. Hence (roar, used the word 'hence' *does a little jig*), I decided I would work on my shyness and "people skills" by meeting and greeting those in the cars around me. So I put my book down, took my keys out and went good on my quest: Meet new people!

Ahh, the first victims (that's foreboding, btw) quest: The van directly behind me. Said van was full of people, many new faces to learn and meet. I was excited! I strut up (well, not really...but strut just sounds funny) and get the gentleman driving the car a chance to notice me. For the next 30 seconds after I was noticed, the man tried to get the window down (power windows) with the car off. *sighs* (bad start point 1). He gave up, and finally opened the car door a hair (probably worried I would try killing him and his family, stealing his car, and then go home realizing I LEFT MY OWN CAR ON THE HIGHWAY RIGHT INFRONT OF HIM, but I digress. bad start point 2) He talked quietly (bad start point 3), but he was able to get out that he and his entourage were on the way to a funeral (holy cow, bad start point 4-40). Needless to say I offered my condolences and moved on.

Next was a small car, with a nice young lady. And darn, I have forgotten her name. As the cars were moving I had to check to make sure what her name was, which rather bothered me. I've been on this new stint lately where I have the need to remember a new persons name or else I feel inadequate. Ahh well. So we discussed the accident, where each other was heading. Interesting conversation only in the fact that it was in the middle of 95 as we were in the stand still. *shrugs* But she was amiable, and seemed quite happy for the distraction. I again moved on.

Eek! I must cut my post short. :( I need to get ready for work. I'll finish up the last part of the night later. I might add that HOLY COW, look how long my first post is. If I keep long posts like this up, when I finally start dissing out my true feelings, intentions, skeletons, and master plans, they will be passed over as the endless prattling of another boring post! *does a little jig*

(btw, I have this urge to "sign" this. Like, oh my gosh, I wonder who else would be typing in my journal.)
