Life revolves around music, much as music revolves around life. Music is so intrinsically ingrained in society, one wonders what one would do without it occasionally. Although the very essence of music in society has made me wonder if anyone else has thought about this before, tell me if you have. Alex- i know you have, due to the fact you gave up music earlier this year, or attempted too. Music can supposedly express the essence of the soul, but isn't it better to express your own soul, through creating music, talking to others, painting, posting on a lj, etc.? And does anyone happen to know why music is so drawing and addicting? It must be something about it, because without music I don't know what i would do, which is a much stronger feeling than any I feel about almost any other subject. Feel free to post your opinions on music, especially if you are a musician.
