This week's news - new Hanagumi shows and the 102nd class
New Hanagumi shows announced:
Seto Kazuya gets a lead. A Bow Show called I love Einstein. Apparently some sort of science fiction story with Albert E and an android named Elsa.
Nice that Akira gets a lead but I’m a bit skeptical about how that story will turn out. Hopefully it will be cute (and not creepy.)
Asumi Rio/Kano Maria will do Romanesque Mask. I have a hard time picturing this… of all possible revivals this was what the company deemed the best fit for current Hanagumi. I guess they are seeing different things in Mirio than I do. Admittedly I haven’t seen much of her top star shows but Ernest and Me and my girl felt more like the type of show choices I expected. I guess I might get surprised, some people do well with challenges.
Names and pictures of the 102nd class are out.
I’m bad at noticing youngsters until their last shinko year or so but maybe I’ll try and keep an eye out for さきしろ けい, いっせい けい, まゆづき れあ and すずみな なつき maybe one of them might land in Hoshigumi.
