News Flashes in the LIFE OF ME
#1. started a new temp job at the animal services dept. of CCCounty.... love it.... kinda... :o)
#2. found out that the kitten i've raised since "he" was 4 weeks old is actually a SHE! (poor thing) in my defense, the vet and a vet tech friend of mine told me he was a boy and really, how often do you chech your cats bits and pieces? Plus... she went 8 months with out ever going into heat!!!!! crazzzzy!
#3. This is a pet peeve of mine and im getting sick and tired of it so now, a RANT.
housewife.... generally labeled as lazy or controlled.... the anti-femmenist (sp????) yea? ok so we all know that that bugs the crap out of me.... because it's wrong... anyone who had a good stay at home mom knows..... i mean you try cleaning up after more that just yourself, keeping track of multiple scheduals, being a personal shopper, stylist, tutour and chef.... yeaaaaaaaa
ok but here is what gets me even more! the people out there who claim to be all over it like white on rice... the ones who want the attention, not the satisfaction of making other people happy... the ones who make theire husbands work all day while they sit on there asses staring at various screens through out the house and then microwave their man something when he gets home and calls it dinner... or even worse, makes HIM cook dinner! the ones who complain about being up all night with kids..... guess what you suzie homemaker reject from hell.... THAT IS YOUR JOB.... if your not going to GO to work then you work at HOME and your up all night... you don't like it? get a career and bring home your own bacon because honey staying at home isn't about a free ride.... you don't get to wear the housewife badge of honor in public and then sit around bitching all day.... tired? fine you can have down time doing easy things like setting the table... thats it... (remember forks on the left of the plate knifes and spoons on the right, 10 points if you can tell me where the wine glass goes without using google) your job is to make the house look perfect, the kids are educated, well rounded and happy and that your husband is healthy and glad to come home to someone he knows cares about him because she shows it by doing anything she can to make him feel comfortable in his own home... you know... the one HE pays for and YOU live in?
Now im not saying that woman shouldn't be treated equally.... im not saying that woman shouldn't working... what i am saying is that if you worked in an office and never showed up on time you'd be fired... if you worked in a resturant and just threw semi-edible food on a plate you'd be fired... if you choose to be a houe wife, or stay at home mom, you shouldn';t take advantage of the "union" your children create to keep your husband from "firing you" because cooking, cleaning, wiping, washing, drying, teaching, dressing, mending, iorning, painting, dusting, moving, waking, driving, talking, smiling, tending, caring, encouraging,hoping, praying, nursing, playing, balancing, and loving are ALL in the job discription so
