Prom - cryptic post!
After spending an entire year of planning Cranford's Prom it is now officially over. It really was not worth all the stress and drama, but nevertheless I really did have a very lovely time.
Prom weekend, though tiring, was equally as fun. Full of never sleeping, midnight beverage runs, blackouts, boardwalks, gondola rides, laughter, embarrassing moments, and spending time with the people who I care most about. I feel that I have grown to know many new people after this weekend and I have grown even closer to those who have been there for me throughout high school.
We only have one full week of school left and I have never been more scared in my entire life. I have had such a beautiful year and its sad to leave it all behind. True, college is exciting, but just having to start over again and leave everything that I am enjoying right now is very upsetting. I am looking forward to the future but I do not want to let go of the present.
