persona non grata
Apparently, I've been kicked off tumblr. No idea why. They won't tell me. No response at all from "support." I'm pretty sure I logged in just a couple of weeks ago for a drive-by scroll. Actually, yes, judging from my email. If it warrants an alert, new followers or new message - those I don't ignore. Given my hate/tolerate relationship to tumblr I can't get that worked up about it even though they are dead wrong for the way they treat their users. I haven't backed up in a couple years, but that's still probably fewer than a dozen posts that are completely gone. I'm more concerned that I can't access Dreamwidth from any of my FOUR browsers, hence the LJ post where absolutely no one is likely to see it (instead of my whole 2 DW followers/friends). But at least my page was still there when I checked from a different device. So we'll see if they ignore me as well.
I kind of hate to post, even out here in Coventry, without something more to show for myself. FWIW, I am still working on my story whenever I can. I fully intend to finish it even if I'm the only one who ever reads it, but things have been so off with me these past couple years that I no longer make promises to or demands on myself as to when. Whenever I can. Couldn't possibly claim it'll be worth the wait but I do think the next two-three chapters will be really fun reads. In fact, while I'm in the mood I think I'll check back in with Val & co.
I can't see making a dummy account just to protest the tumblr ban. If they're doing random terminations now, good riddance to 'em. Can't say "I'll be here" just yet, but I will be back. Somewhere. Til then...
