Hey, Daytona and Peter getting naughty! I suddenly got this image in my head of Daytona all dominatrixe’d... (which would be a bunch of steps from this scenario - but anyway) so where did that come from and how to feel about that?Just that I have a really vivid imagination? ;)
The domestic life is the really interesting part about Widespot. I kind of loved how Junior looked behind the counter - married life _is_ treating him well. You know how I keep sayint that to me the sims aren’t any fun until they’ve developed their interests and relations - gotten friends, enemies, loves and secret affairs? Widespot has all that, as the kids grow up it keeps getting more and more interesting! Adding to that, Peni's sims had interesting personalities to begin with.
Also your staged pictures adds another dimension to the already great ones from in-game: all the teens showing up to redecorating the Newson’s house for example (great poses for Gavin and Virgie when David pushed the bed - it looks like something in-game really). I get that “watching a movie/TV-show feeling” each time I tune in for another chapter of the story.
That's kind of a scary image to visualise (also hilarious) but not entirely inappropriate :-D Daytona definitely enjoys her dominance, even if she's not into all that leather and stuff.
The interpersonal stuff is what I love about the game, too. I don't know how emotions play out in TS4 but I love how expressive these guys are, they really care about what happens to and around them, even the minor inconvenience of a route blockage (which can be annoying because they take way too long to get over that huff). Well, for the most part they care but ACR throws some interesting twists, there's a scene in the final Beech part where there's some flagrant romantic swapping going on in the background and neither partner gives a hoot, they just stand by and wait their turns. (No spoilers, it's only townie drama but so funny to me I've been editing pics to make sure it's included, though I should probably be working on the Hart update instead.)
I just reread both parts myself and I did actually get a sense of that scene jumping thing that soap operas do. 'Meanwhile, on the other side of town...', it made me laugh but I do love when it finally comes together the way I wanted. Stay tuned! :-)
