Looks like quite a lot going on to me!

Dixie and Rhett? Oh, Gawd...But at the moment it's him or a trucker, isn't it? Where will Dixie be living now? And did she take her chair with her so she has a source of income?

River really is a hard worker, despite his points. And his birthday sneaks up on a lot of people (it did on me). If you can find him someone to date (Sharla ages up soon, doesn't she? Or there's always Sadie and Viola. If he's gay, he's up a creek without a paddle, though.), he should be all right; but poor Pleasure teens can be a problem.

Looks like Mary misses them. So nice to see Beulah taking care of her for a change. If only she'd fessed up about the original pregnancy, maybe she'd have kept Val's baby. (She was probably afraid her daddy'd shoot him if she made the announcement without a ring on, though.) I'm with Beulah on not inviting Lana to the kaffeeklatsch - that is a woman who competes with women, not one who bonds with them. If Mary and Junior aren't careful, she'll keep Mary in domestic slavery as bad as Beulah ever did, or worse. I wonder what it is the kaffeeklatsch settled on, though?

And Virgie's a lot more her mother's daughter than she wants to admit, I see. Though, of course, alcohol.

Ah, you must've been reading while I was editing out some of that wordiness at the beginning and end, I know how wall-o-text can be off-putting, but some bits will likely end up recycled later on.

Moving out was one of the wants Dixie could satisfy since she was all deep in her aspiration suddenly, but she's broke so her options are few :-). (No20khandout, especially for the Land kids!) She did take her chair but I've been thinking I should've left it and had her mother hire her on there.

River, bless him; he was all over that with very little prompting! He is gay, though, so he's going to have a little problem. Or a big one.

Mary does miss her family, it's mutual. She's difficult pregnant so Beulah and I surely did cheesecake her butt, to make it worth the trouble. She can't help being reminded of the one she lost and worrying about this one but having that support of people who all love her probably would've made all the difference. Let's just say Lana's not exactly Mary's ally in that house. And I'm not exactly sure myself yet what they settled on but I do know that this is a good time for alliances to be reinforced.

Virgie is definitely her mother's daughter. And Sandy knows it. But David might not be doing her any favours by keeping quiet.
