i have learned to use 'methinks' and 'hullabaloo' in my everyday vocabulary, by the way. just thought i'd let the world know. oh and i went to austin this entire weekend, to see bright eyes. i have 2 things to say. no, 3 things. First, Austin is fucking lame and has nothing on Houston, and anyone that thinks austin is cool can fucking go to hell. it's as if everyone in the montrose or west u area put a stick up their ass, moved to the hill country, and decided they were cool as fuck, which is far from the truth because 50000 of those people actually live in some lame redneck town in Texas and just go to UT because they can't maybe be a little more creative in their school choice. Second, i love barbeque. if i ever left texas (which probably will happen), i will miss a. whataburger, b. good barbeque, c. good mexican food, d. herman park, and e. fucking flat ass roads that make biking really easy. (oh by the way i bought a vintage 1980 schwinn traveler, it's so great). Third, anyone that has said or thinks that bright eyes is bad live, is a fucking idiot and probably hasn't seen them and just recites hearsay, because they put on on of the best sets ever. bright eyes is the 2nd best live band i've seen (in my opinion), as a close runner-up to broken social scene, who is amazing live. also up there is the faint, ben kweller, yyy's, and danielson.
