Been a long week. And its only Tuesday!
This weekend was fun, though. Hung out with my girls, and had lots of fun. Sunday was good too. More resolution was made with someone,and I feel good about where things are going. Monday was nummy food, followed by Little Big Planet with teh Kate and Reg and John. So much win! The only bad part is playing on a school night, its hard to want to stop, but its also hard to wake up so early :)
Coming to terms with the whole birthday thing. I read an article that said one of the commonalities of centenarians was a positive attitude towards aging. So, I am giving that a go. It's really not that I'm having a problem with aging. That, I'm ok with. Hell, most people think I'm in my early twenties. What I have a hard time dealing with is the disappoint of things, of my life in general, and even down to planning a birthday celebration on such a popular holiday. *le sigh* I do know someone who has it worse off than me, though...
Trying to not have so much drama surround the birthday. Planning a dinner and going to a party afterwards I thought would be simple. Oh, how naive I am...I thought, I won't have a party of my own because there is so much other stuff going on...and that way I wouldn't have to go through the mad dash of cleaning and cooking. I should know better than to think anything could ever be simple. But, I think everything will work out, and the result is 3 days of celebrating. I guess that's a day per decade. Woot.
