10 years in reflection

10 years ago: I was 23, heavily into Mounted Patrol,

work: I had been working for United Express Airlines for 5 years. I retired from there Oct 2008, after working 7 years full time, and 7 years part-time. The only reason I didn't quit earlier is because we needed the flight benefits. Love the fact that I have lifetime flight benefits. $91 for 2 to Australia. And NO I can't adopt you! I have been a stay at home mom since then, and realized it is the hardest job I will ever have.

family: Craig and I had been married for 4 years in July 1999. And we had given up on having kids for a while, after trying for 3 years. We weren't quite ready to go to the lengths that Miranda did, but we were preparing for it in the future. Craig's Mom passed away in May 2000, and little did we know that we were given a great little bundle to bring home from Australia. We tried some fertility treatments for Casey a few years later, but ultimately decided to trust God, and were given our little girly, followed by a "What the Heck! I'm pregnant again?" a couple years later giving us Lane. Proof that Dr.s don't always get everything right.

sca: Had never heard of it!! Though I had passed the 30 year held at Clark County Fairgrounds, and wondered what was going on.

10years of positive change? An awesome hubby, 3 beautiful children, my dream job of a stay at home Mom. Yeah I think so!
