STEAM SALE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jul 13, 2013 02:36

I don't know why Steam sales get me so excited. I have so many games I have yet to play in my inventory, but I still acquire more. And end up playing more Binding of Isaac or Audiosurf half the time. (The other half is devoted to puzzle games. I do love me some puzzle games.)

Anyway, I picked up Don't Starve, FTL, and...Scribblenauts Unlimited! I've only added the first to my library so far, but who am I fooling, I am keeping them all.

If BoI goes on stupid deep discount again, I might grab some to randomly gift to people.

Last week, my sister finally decides to try and hook herself up with Steam and it turns out the Humble Bundle I'd bought her around Christmas, I'd forwarded her the wrong email, but I was sitting right there and could forward her the right email. Just freaking hilarious that it takes her six months to figure out I hadn't actually emailed her the code. Anyway, it was pretty cool, because I downloaded my DRM-free copy of Isaac to her computer ages ago, to make sure her computer could run it, and as soon as she boots up BoI through Steam, BAM, she's got all her achievements. Game's coding is held together with bubblegum and shoelaces, but her savefile was found by Steam.

By the way, I'm not really understanding this trading card and leveling bit, how the fuck am I level 10 when I only play like two goddamn games all the time?

steam, gaming
