food pantries. yes. well, I guess the best thing you can do is recognize it is not cheap to feel unproductive.

That took me a few years to stop resenting white bread, ramen and mac and cheese.

Rice noodles from an asian food mart, are usually 99 cents a large bag. so they are an optoin. Brown rice is better for you than white rice and still a cheap options. I found frozen veggies $1.00 a bag goes a long way with bullion cubes and rice noodles.

Truly, frozen is cheaper than canned, and less preservatives.

I guess get the juice and maybe peanut butter from the pantry. white bread just isn't good for you weather you are intolerant, allergic, or not. So it isn't a gain no matter what. I don't know if you have children or not, but either way, there is local help for food stamps for those even without children for at least a little food budget that might assist with buying the cheaper frozen veggies. I think the last person I helped get the food stamp buget made about 18,000 in a year, but still got 100 in food stamps a month due to her medical bills.
100 dollars isn't much, but it sure would make the difference between wheatie toxins and buying the bread that you can eat. you can still go to the pantries and get stuff, just be careful to only take stuff that is actually "FOOD" or nutrition to you. It is a mind set of starve through not eating, or starve through you body using all the nutrients to survive poisoning.
