:D The whole thing's dying to become a proper Greek tragedy from here on out, only without the death and thus infinite issues. Stupid shoe. ;)

All good things come to ... something, right?

Yep!

(Just so happens that in my world that 'something' is generally gloom...)

of course things wouldn't remain "easy" for long.

I love how you keep telling what Buffy's doing to keep us aware of what's real and still the sense of unreality is all that's felt.

Thank you! I loved writing Brand New Day the first time round, so it was really fun to go back to it again.

Still getting that uncomfortable prickle at the back of the neck. Very interesting, though am not sure I actually want to know what happened next.

What happens next is kind of scary. But salvageable! (By a writer whose instinct isn't to plunge characters further into quagmires...)

Woop! I really enjoyed it.
As always, you get the characters' voices really well - and I liked the way Spike perceived Angel's presence.

Yay! And thank you! The voices get so frustrating sometimes...

ooh, something I thought when I was falling asleep...

I think it seems more Angel-style than Buffy? Does that make sense? I may have just thought this because of the presence of Wes et al.
In fact, thinking about it, a lot of your writing has a dark Angelly undercurrent... Happiness is fleeting!

Well, it is technically post-NFA rather than post-Chosen...

But hmm! I've never really thought about what makes something a Buffy fic rather than an Angel fic (apart from characters and setting, obviously, but I tend to think of the Buffyverse as a cohesive whole anyway). I like gloominess so things come out that way...
