I love the way you switch between funny and sad - very much in character for that place in their lives. And some of the lines are very funny. I particularly love:

I think Joss is an only child, and if you'll notoce, almost all his characters are, too - and if they're not, they end up killing their siblings or dying for them.

I thought it was a bit of a coincidence the number of only children and estranged siblings there were in Sunnydale. But then again, I wasn't sure if that wasn't just more of his issues.

Lovely ficlet, You're like the voice of reason on everything Bander.
Though I just started enjoying S8, every time there's even a Hint of bander hidden in between the plot or the artwork or the dialogue, my eyes start twitching. It hurts .
