This is basically the moment I would love to start a canon-rewrite fic from, but reckon I would get bored. But that doesn't stop me from drabbling about it:

Such a little thing and yet it would have changed so much.

Lovely.

Funny, because I've often thought about starting an AU from here as well. In fact, it's on my to-do list. :)

Well, I have about three fics on my to-do list at this point. An Ats S5 rewrite (attempt at fluff), an early BtVS S2/S3 deal (Spuffy), and the S4 rewrite starting from that point. Oh, and an all-human AU. I'm not going to run out of fic to write for a while, obviously. :)

Well, if it's any consolation, you can equally be assured that you're not going to run out of readers.

The AtS S5 fluff sounds fun.

It almost feels like canon.

The "almost" obviously being because it's just too plain satisfying for canon. ;)

Seriously, though, thanks.

It's too easy for canon. Spike has to suffer a bit first.

Ah yes, the Spike sufference. Possibly one of the main aspects of canon - and one that is very often forgotten by would be fic writers.

What would happen if I stuck a quick Shirtless!Spike torture scene at the beginning?
