Ok, many of the skills, and people that are in charge of the situation, in New Orleans are the same skills and people that would be in the forefront during the aftermath of a terrorist attack. This all falls under the auspices of the office of home land security witch is to coordinate operations after an attack. These rescue services are all drastically under-funded and under-staffed (and Bush wants to cut taxes, for the rich, more!). We have stadiums full of refugees in need of basic medical attention (is this the Midwest or Bosnia?), imagine if this was a radiological (dirty bomb) or biological attack?
