Another M.F.A. in the world...
I passed my thesis defense today...which was my committee asking me very personal questions about my process with "Cannibal! The Musical" as well as my process in life...some questions I just told them I couldn't answer... Like, "What is your five-year-plan?" Well. I don't know. I didn't know two years ago that I was going to be in that office today doing a thesis defense, and I didn't know one year ago that I wasn't going to be married right now... So, with a huge move coming up in my life and a new career track, I can't really say.
Along with that, I now have a Master in Fine Arts in Media and Performing Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design. And I have Shannon Wells to thank for that...and I did, last weekend.
I'm in town through this summer...going to put up a show, probably "Vampire Lesbians of Sodom"...and then out to Los Angeles to, well, break into the studio system.
