If a post is made on LJ and no one's there to read it, does it matter if I can't finish the analogy?

 Hello world,

First ever post on LJ! It was a while coming after I actually got the account, and yet I've got no astonishing revelations to show for it...

My main fandom is Supernatural (yay!). It's an excellent show and if I have to elaborate further I know I'll end up writing way too much...

At the moment I'm really loving songs by Within Temptation, reading a book by Neil Gaiman, and also trying to get the hang of lace knitting. I'm 18, attending University; I love reading and writing and just thinking!, except it seems when I'm actually supposed to be achieving a goal with it, but that usually ends well enough after a bit of concentration. I live in Australia, and I love my sunburnt country.

I'm just starting out with this posting business but have been lurking around various communities. Yeah, there's no need to formalise with a first post, et cetera, but I guess that's just the way I am...leaving blank pages in exercise books as makeshift titlepages, leaving the first plastic sheet empty in a folder.

Guess I'll round off by saying if I can contribute something worthwhile to someone, somewhere, someday through this, if I can brighten your day just a little bit, it'll surely brighten mine too :)

And now off to Real Life (but first - must learn to make an lj-cut...)
