What I do for these kids...
Last sunday my mom and I got out to the bus stop at 8am. A bus came at 8:35, and my sunday morning bus commute, which should take only 42 minutes took me an hour and 45 minutes.
This sunday it has been crazy winter weather for over a week, so I expect better of the busses. I will be getting out to the bus stop by 7:30, I hope.
Bets on how long it's gonna take this time? The difference? there is five inches of new snow, over five or six from thursday. I don't have to tell people from around here that this borders on the most snow I've seen at home in my lifetime. And it is the most I've ever seen in Seattle. Considering that the city generally shuts down when we get a couple of inches...
This morning is the first time I've left the house since wednesday. Hooray cabin fever!
