Dog Days/His Smile (Whistle!, G, drabbles)

Okay, I'm posting two short-shorts I wrote as part of chain_of_fics, which is where you pic up the story using the last line of another story, any fandom. Neither are particularly spectacular, but it's Whistle! which has won my heart. ^_~

The Whistle! manga is coming out now and I'm happy about that. But, I'm so unfamiliar with the characters since I've only read volume 1 and haven't been able to see the anime. So I looked up a guide to the characters before reading these. *is glad* They were so cute! You managed to capture the focus and passion of their soccer playing, and that's one of my favorite things about sports and game manga and anime anyway, so it was a real treat for me. ^_^ Thanks!

I tend to be more of an anime fan, tbough I'm told the manga is better (23 volumes and counting, so....). The characters are really charming - and definitely fixated. Sadly, I have an OVERWHELMING urge to SLASH them...

Glad you enjoyed.

I've played soccer for a number of years and Whistle was the first soccer anime that I saw. I've always had a soft spot for it and wanted to see some english fanstuff. You've spoiled me already though, it will be hard to read sub-par whistle fics now that I've read your whistle stuff.

These are both such wonderfull drabbles. Especially the first one as I love how Shige, Shou and Mizuno interact. I hope you continue to write in this fandom. Personally I can't really picture Shou being a professional soccer player. I think he would be an exceptional coach though. ^__^ Thank you for writing these

I played soccer for about six years and I think that's why I am drawn more to Whistle! than other series - I know what the hell is going on, though I do question the FOULS they seem to be ignoring.

I don't think these are v3ery good fics - really rather pointless, but it's good to dangle my feet and start "feeling" the characters. Kazamatsuri is such an uke it's hard to write him without making him femme. I do adore the Sakura Triangle... and Shige is wild. Mizuno is my fav, though.

I can see Shou becoming a pro, only because his father was one.

*melts* I /heart/ you! Seriously! I am such a diehard fan of Whistle!, especially Mizuno/Kazamatsuri, and there's hardly a speck of fanfic to satisfy. But this...this! Not to mention, most others seem to prefer Wild Heart Striker...but, anyway...

More, please, more. *blinks cute puppy eyes*

I love Wildstriker, too! But the characters for Whistle! are just so much more ficable...

I love M/K.... that would probably be my OTP, but I think I could see just about anything. They are SO adorable...

^_~ I might do more, depends if I get inspired.
