Summary: A short drabble set 200 years in the future, no real spoilers but lots of speculation.
Note: I don't remember writing this... I'm pretty sure it was a gift drabble for someone.
Despite two hundred years passing since Aizen's failed rebellion, Hitsugaya Toushirou hadn't grown an inch. Even though he wore the haori of the general of the Gotei 13, he still resembled an elementary school student.
It was always a shock for a new soldier joining the ranks. Due to the nature of his work, most of them never saw him before the investiture ceremony... and no one ever remembered to tell the students that Hitsugaya looked like a child.
Kurosaki-taichou shrugged his shoulders when one of his bolder young officers asked him about the oversight. "Doesn't matter what he looks like. It matters what he is."
