That was just. Gutting. Yet somehow this is the post-story scenario that's always lurked in my mind. It feels inevitable.

It's very inevitable - Mimi was in rotten condition, and it's likely she didn't like long after the end of the musical. Now, I wager Collins, on the other hand, is one of those people who's still alive 25 years later...
