Yay, fic about Nase! She doesn't make an appearance much in fics--maybe she's too normal? ^^

I like the way you put it from her view, how she became strong enough at Go and how she loves it enough to keep at it.

She's missing one essential part for shonen ai.

I like Nase, because she does love the game while retaining a sense of normality. Sometimes I think she'd be GREAT with Waya, but I've never seen that done. Or how about her with Akira?

She seems to be too mature for them, not being the sort that squabbles over the goban and holding grudges against prodigies ^__^. Maybe someone like Isumi. Or maybe she'll leave them all in the dust when she becomes RL Umezawa-sensei.

Lovely look at Nase and how she is, when it all comes down to it, happy with what she is doing and her practicality! So refreshing in comparison with the SHOUNEN FAITO!!1-ness of the boys ;D

She does have a bit of that SHOUNEN FAITO! but I think she's also more grounded. The fact that she wants a boyfriend shows that she is as normal a girl as an Insei could be?

i never really got to finish the anime but i like what you wrote. she is a pretty strong but quiet character the way you describe her. well done.

I'm really liking this - it seems so true to Nase with the way that she's both interested in being normal and in showing her strengthm, and how go is everything as demonstrated on her date. XD

I think I'm about to hit a wall on the ficwriting, so enjoy it while you can.

Nase is more balanced than most of the cast.
