I shall be back with a more detailed response but for now I just want to say that you are a wonderful flawless human being and I am the happiest little girl in all the land.

You.

My.

Seriously get out of my head.

Oh um sorry? Apparently I'm just good like that? Maybe? I guess? It made sense from what you said about their weird relationship. I had a coherent reason a second ago, I swear...it's flown the coop...

It'S CREEPY STOP IT (don't stop ever). But yeah I think it makes logical sense considering the anxiety surrounding the ages and stuff?

BLAH BLAH BLAH I'm trying to figure out how to COMMUNICATE MAH FEELS other then "and then I died and then I died again and then..." Busterella is bad at talking.

Yes, ma'am. :D I think that was the reason...it had something to do with Ace's reluctance towards Belladonna/Buttercup, at any rate, and the brief Ace mental relapse due to her past coming out.

We're getting there! Slowly but surely, we are reaching actual communication here! XD

EVER SO SLOWLY

Also you do a great job of making Ace..."Sound right", I guess, even in this more "serious" context which I imagine would be hard to do because that's not how his character is originally supposed to work DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE.

Yeah, makes sense. :D I think it's not that hard, really; once you get a character's voice or syntax or whatever down, it's pretty easy to adjust per tone. Ace's accent is what it is, whether or not he's happy or sad or silly or serious.

Not just accent wise but like...what he's saying? Idk. Even though I have no ability to create dialogue whatsoever it's one of the things I'm most persnickety about in fic, I get really thrown out when characters speak too vaguely/generically, even if nothings flat out "wrong". WHICH DID NOT HAPPEN HERE. That basically applies to the whole thing, actually, all the lines and little bits and pieces feel so character appropriate/specific which makes it great (YOU ACTUALLY DO THIS ALL THE TIME I just don't compliment you enough oops). Like the bike bit, there's tons of more general things that could be used as "happy memories" but you did something that was so distinct and them, etc.

But anyway YES GOOD AWKWARD YES a bloo bloo feelings.

The wind whistled in a lonely sort of way. Now that her superhearing was returning, she could hear the faraway chirps of birds in Townsville Park. Bubbles used to love listening to that. So did Billy.

I REALLY LIKE THIS LITTLE BIT it's a nice little encapsulation of the feels.

This whole thing has me filled with the warm fuzzies, so before I start talking gibberish and make myself more foolish than I already iz, I'mma say YOU'RE THE BEST and THANK YOU and also HUGZZZZZ.

Yes. That seems about right. :D (I'll be honest, the bike thing slipped up on me. Like...most of the character moments slip up on me. Apparently I have mental problems where characters move in and then NEVER LEAVE.)
