I am one of those extremely lucky people who is still friends with people she met in kindergarten. And two of them have had awesome news in the last week, and I just want to say YAY!
One friend is getting married! Wow. That's crazy. I'm so happy for her! And I'm so excited, I get to be in the wedding. And It's going to be here, not way far away where she lives, so I can actually help. And my friends and I will all get to see each other at the wedding!
One of my other friends has a new job, after taking a big risk and quitting her old job when they pulled some stupid shit on her. So she's found a new job, in a new city. So best of luck to her! Plus she's moving somewhere warm and near some of my relatives, so I may be able to find an excuse to visit her someday soon.

My life is good, sort of boring. I just finished my first full semester of grad school; it went pretty well, and I'm looking forward to my new classes. I really like the program.
Jon and I are both doing well, and my biggest problem is that I don't clean the apartment often enough. My other problem is that I have no idea what to get anyone for Christmas. Argh.
