I bought a car today. :D
I've been looking at cars all week, because GM and several other dealers were having a 0% financing deal, which allows me to buy a new car and not pay interest. And with my parents helping (co-signing and down payment) this is what I bought:

Yes, it's the same car I've been driving, just a newer and shinier model, with a sunroof and pretty interior. Silly, I know, but I couldn't find anything else that I liked. I drove it to the mall today, and it is a pretty durn sweet ride. I need to buy floor mats so that it will be easier to clean, and a phone charger like we have in the other car, and according to Katie R. I need to give it a name. Any suggestions? It's a shimmery dark gray color because that was all they had left in stock. :/
Other than that news, nothing much is happening here. I'm still working 2 part time jobs, and temping through a temp firm. My parents are awesome. My brother is insane and pisses me off far too often. The cats are still very cute. Pretty blah.
We spent the 4th at my grandma's for lunch for her 97th birthday (yeah, I know, she's old!) and then went to the Schoells, good friends, classmates, and neighbors of ours. For the three of you who actually know them, Blair and Kate are doing well, as are Mr. and Mrs. Schoell. Jon came with us, and he and Mr. Schoell and Blair hit it off because it turns out that all three are Phi Psis (from the same frat, though different chapters) and that was pretty funny. Blair has an awesome collection of WWII memorabilia, which he uses in reenactments, and he showed Jon and I a bunch of it, which was awesome. Blair's fiancee Erin was there too. I've met her several times before, and she's a fun girl. We went over to my house after dinner and set off way too many fireworks. It was a good fourth. Katie R., they asked how you were doing, and if you were coming for a visit any time soon.
I've been good. Sorry I haven't been in contact with people, I've just been busy and not doing anything exciting. Give me a call in the evenings, I'm usually free then, and we'll catch up!
