(no subject)
Hi everyone.
Man, what to say about the past week...? My Spring Break with Lora has been a blast. It's been full of fun, good times, and peace. I feel re-energized, and whole. My prayer is that I hold onto this strength, this confidence. Through the good and the bad that's been crossing my life lately, I've let it all be a tool for God to form me into something more of a man. It's hard to become humble, and it's hard to let go of my old way of doubt and anxiety, and I'm sure I'll be having more bouts in the future of pain, and anxiety.
But hey, it's all good. It's all good, in the end. Keep your eyes on the prize, you know?
Well, I'll make a quick list of all the stuff that happened that really sticks out to me:
- Went fishing for the fist time. (didn't catch anything.)
- Got in a car wreck with Lora. (No one got hurt, thankfully! 'Cept Lora's car.)
- Watched some awesome movies.
- Went to an awesome park and had a lot of fun.
- Got to spend a whole week with the girl I love.
- Got to talk about God.
- Got an awesome new necklace and FLCL T-shirt.
Yup. It was really frickin' sweet.
As I sit here writing this at Lora's house...knowing I have to go in 20 minutes...it's just like- A mix of sadness, and hope. Hope knowing that good things are to come, and a joyful disposition, but sadness that I have to leave her once more. Ah, well...that's how it is. No worries. She knows I love her so hard. <3
