Pumpkinses!
After getting soaked last night, I was finally motivated to purchase some rain gear for biking. I am now the proud owner of a fluorescent yellow jacket and black pants.
Today afternoon we carved pumpkins to create jack-o-lanterns that spelt out H-A-M-M-A-R-S-K-J-O-L-D. It was my first time ever carving a pumpkin. I made the an "A". Scooping the goop out of pumpkins is pretty gross.
On the way back I was waiting at an intersection to turn left when a doggie trotted across the street, causing 2 cars to screech to a halt in the middle of the intersection to avoid hitting it. Nobody seemed to be walking the dog but it was clearly not used to crossing streets on its own so I don't think it was a stray.
