Now how did that work?

Let's see...first off, I dreamt that my family moved into a new house. I was suddenly a bit younger, I think. Anyway, it was a really, really, big house but my brother and I had to share a room for some reason. He wanted to listen to the radio while fell asleep and had the volume on really loud. He turned it down a bit but it still drove me nuts. I ran around the house looking for another room and decided to sleep in what was essentially a small closet. There was a bed there all of the sudden. I decided it might not make a bad bedroom as long as I could keep my stuff somewhere else. There were a lot of shelves elsewhere in the house so I went with that arrangement.

Then I dreamt I was out running when this lady on a bike knocked me over. She knocked my shoes off somehow and one almost hit her. She managed to duck just in time but she figured a flying shoe meant something was wrong. She stopped her bike and picked up the shoe. I stood up to take it from her and it was love at first sight.

Seriously. It makes no sense. The scene kind of reminds me of a Vietnamese Cinderella story in which a prince searches for the woman who can fit a shoe he almost got hit in the head with.

At any rate, she was apparently in a hurry to get somewhere as was I but we said we'd see each other again.

She mailed me an invitation to some thing at a stadium. I honestly don't remember what it was. However, this woman was apparently wealthy and recognized by a lot of people. I on the other hand I had no idea who she was. I just loved her and was quite hurt when I saw her kissing random people assembled in the stadium. Her image was projected on one of those crazy giant screens and I noticed that she was counting people as she kissed them. When she got to me, she hugged me and took me by the hand. She dragged me out into the middle of the stadium and announced over the speaker system that we were to be married.

And nobody had a problem with it. Err...I'm not saying they should just that things don't really work like that at the moment.

So, I guess we were. I don't really remember how that happened. I think I woke up and fell asleep again while still managing to dream something in the same weird story line. At any rate, we lived in a large house. She told me that she wanted to have children and I said she'd better not expect me to take care of them because I just don't consider myself emotionally stable enough to do so. (Weird, I actually used a bit of real world logic there. Otherwise, this dream is about as disconnected
from reality as it gets.) She said that was fine because she could hire as much extra help as we needed.

So...I was pregnant with her children a few times. I have no idea how that happened. :P I wasn't completely disconnected from them, either. However, I was comfortable enough with the arrangements we made that we wound up having eight or ten children. Uh...

Um...Lucy and Ricky Ricardo were our neighbors as were the Mertzes. This dream really really weirded me out.

I woke up and fell asleep again and found myself wondering what happened with my weird dream family and I was suddenly an old lady. There were some people in the house saying they just couldn't believe how many children we had. I told them that they'd all moved out but we could probably arrange a conference call if they wanted to verify that. I sent an e-mail alerting my children about it and...well, that's all I remember.

For the sake of ending the strange, convoluted story about my family, I'll just say I died then. OK.

shelves, lost in a house, children, shoes, big house, many rooms, marriage, not myself, radio, moving, love
