SLEEPY!

Well, I just got home from Holland. People who live on the West side might wonder... why the hell would anyone go to Holland for the weekend? I don't have a good answer though. My parents wanted to get a motel in GH but of course, booked. So we spent the weekend eating, bike riding along the lakeshore and staring at Lake Michigan. My mom and I went to this outlet Carly and I had heard about.. SUCKED! We bought new shoes from the Reebok store and then used them to walk the half mile to the other mall across the way to really go shopping. (my dad had taken the bros to play putt putt) I got a new belly button ring, it's rather obnoxious (I LOVE IT), a backpack, and some earrings. Nothing too spectacular but enjoyable all the same. It was just really nice to get to hang out with them, even though Mark didnt get to go. I miss my family.

On another note, please pray for Mark, this weekend was pretty devastating for him. His best friend Justin Straub (brother to Lauren)'s mother died suddenly on Friday morning, apparently she went into cardiac arrest at work, it could have been an anurism they don't know. So he was really upset, then on Saturday his friend Matt Carey from the football team, dove into a lake and broke his neck, he could be paralyzed from the neck down. D.C. had a prayer service for him that night. He's been having it pretty rough lately. Why does it seem like as soon as we graduate from high school tragedy begins to strike? I just can't believe how many people, young people or parents of my friends have died within the past 2 years of my being in college. Do people just wait or something until we get out of high school and then feel its ok to die? It seems silly but I don't remember it ever being this bad before graduation.

In happier news, I'm a mere $300 shy of where I'd like to be for car purchasing, and with my birthday moolah and deposits I need to make, I should be exactly where I need to when I go home second week of August :) My dad said he would be checking things out for me up until then so hopefully he'll have a good idea of what I should look at since I am on a time cruncher. FINALLY I get my very first car. Which will make me more broke than I have been in my entire life, but it will allll be worth it.

Carly is still not home from Jax' bday party last night so I'm thinking I'm going to nap for a bit on the couch before she gets home. Hope everyone had a terrific weekend!!
2 weeks till Caitlyn comes up!!!
