Working on a NY state of mind
Having Fin in Atlanta for my birthday was a lot of fun - headed to a Braves game, went to a brewery, out for oysters (good, but not Hunt's), golf, culinary extravaganza, out for pool and more beer, and awesome brunch.
With only 21 days left until graduation, things have been very busy finishing up my research paper, final projects, preparations for moving to NYC, and impending med school applications. The last few weeks have been spent trying to finalize a list of med schools, and there were quite a few surprises in the final list.
In honor of moving to the Upper East Side, here are a few things that I can't wait to do in NYC:
1. Get to know the Museum Mile Mariachi band that performs on my local subway line. They supposedly have perfected the 2 minute fiesta.
2. See the cafe/bar inside an UES hotel decorated by illustrator of kids series Madeline.
3. Hit golf balls over the water at Chelsea Piers driving range.
