The past few games have been nicely relaxed with a moderate amount of work and a lot of random meanderings. Kyle, Adina, Aaron, and I went to Warped Tour and I counted all 8 colors of hair that could make up the original Crayola box. Jason, Kyle and I went to a Houston Astros baseball game and I was reminded of my love for "the All-American" past time and of course, ball game hotdogs. As much as I love baseball games, I can only wonder at how it was in the 20's, 30's, and 40's; without all of the advertisments stifling your gaze and the kind of players like Joe Dimaggio. Adina and I roamed around Half-Priced books were I acquired 2001: A Space Odessey, The Tao of Pooh, and Gray's Anatomy. Walking out with my new-found treasures left an inexplicable smile on my face. Also in the Village is a building on a small side street that always caught my eye because of a very odd statue on the lawn. Today was the day that I finally got around to venturing into this stronghold of the absurd. The Gremillion ( so it was called) was actually a gallery for abstract art. As I explored it, I saw fanciful metal-working and the products of someone's very active imagination. One of the most striking things was a 10 statue of the finger bones. As I walked out the door, I felt oddly cheated that I didn't fall prey to a Boxcar Children mystery...
