Official first day of spring is when? Oh, right!
52 days. 52 days. 52 days.
52 days until Spring and I can't wait. I love snow, I just hate having to go to work in it. Another 1.5 feet overnight. I've been going (to work), but today, I called in late... And then I called out. I was shoveling out my car for about 2 hours when I tried to pull it out so the plow could get to our spots. I went sideways instead of foward for most of it. Shoveled for another hour and then started working on the stairs because everyone else was. < part I can't post on fb > I would've only been an hour and a half late for my shift but I have MASSIVE amounts of vacation time and I didn't want to go to work anyway. Bonus? I get to watch The Vampire Diaries tonight. :o) I've had a pot of stew on the stove since yesterday and it's good and ready. :o) Now if I only had some salt left, I'd be making a batch of chocolate and peanutbutter chip cookies, but I ran out. Can't win 'em all. ;o)
I guess it all works out, except for the fact that the whole department called out and there's no one there for the day....it's the first half of the store and no one's there. I used to care more, but, oh well. ha!< / part I can't post on fb> ;o)
Funny thing about all this snow is that I've been scheduled to have an interview for a Team Lead position that's been cancelled and rescheduled 3 times now because of snow and call outs. It's like the fates are trying to tell me something. I'm just not sure what. ;o)
Next snowstorm is expected for Tuesday. I should be able to lift my arms by then. ;o)
