I find it interesting that your first Massachusetts song is the one filled with cornfield imagery.

I think that may be because I tend to shun urban imagery in my lyrics altogether. Why? Well, my aesthetic is stuck in the 18th Century.

Yesterday I used "N8-esque" as an adjective.

I know that I've arrived now that I have an adjective! I'd be interested in hearing about the context of your recent usage of "N8-esque" if you would be so kind as to enlighten me.

I was listening to a song on the radio and complained that it was too literal. When Sylvie asked if some other songs that I like are similarly literal, I replied that not every song I like has to contain "N8-esque" metaphors, but they do at least have to be artful.

Now, if you would like to additionally flatter my vanity, do you have a working definition of "N8-esque?"
