(no subject)
well i made it back in one piece.
This past weekend was our Gaming trip to Fredricton, NB for a Kotei out there. It was a blast, I didn't do as well as i hoped but it was still fun. And there was much trading going on afterwards and drinking to follow. There was seven in all who went down, in one van. Needless to say i got stuck in the backseat, but not in the middle. :D Course the trip was extra goodness what with the upteen pounds of snacks provided by one of the guys ( his wife actually )
Though i do have two things about the trip that got to me. The first was during the Kotei. One of the players had an illegal deck unfortunatly it wasn't caught until the top 16, grrr silly judges for not Checking over the deck lists... and of course i play him first round too and lost. :( he was disqualified but then it didn't matter. And they still gave him top Clan, which i am still opposed to, since he was Disqualified.. and didn't know all the rules either or announced when he did things during games and didn't know which cards are legal and which aren't.
I admit i felt a lil satisfaction when i saw him walking away from the top 16 tables with a lil tear in his eye... Bitch! lol
My other complaint was the freaking hill leading into downtown Fredricton. I went out drinking with one of the guys Saturday night afterwards and we were told to walk up the road about twenty minutes to find the bars. we forgoten to be told it was downhill... needless to say the walk back was a lil slower and very tiring. And the bar we decided on Closed at 12:30?!?! Wtf? but the owner was cool, he let us stay and drink until he and his bartender cleaned up and closed up shop... so it was like 1:15am before we left. I love those kinds people.
and the kool thing even with the drinking, i only spent Half of what money i took down,.. course i'm going to need that half for next months rent since i booked off this past weekend and this coming weekend and the store got renovated this weekend too ( i was suppose to work today but i got the "boss" calling me at 11am ish saying the reno. wasn't done, with luck tomorrow i'll be back )..And the "boss" still doesn't understand the idea that i need hours to survive....Prick.
But before i left i gave my resume into a Musicworld for a chance at Manager-in-Training Position. Sweet, Fulltime. but we'll see if anything comes of that, i should in theory be hearing this week if i get an interview. but we'll see.
