Just thinking about that Almost Famous deleted scene nearly brought me to tears. In the end, the music itself did. Just the instruments, even.
I also try to express myself in music (in lyrics that aren't mine) and it's the closest I get to saying how I feel (to the public at large) even though what it literally says isn't (usually) quite the heart of it; it's all the feeling.
