What if I offer you a third option for Christmas...not that it will necessarily be any more appealing than the others.

I have a birthday gift for you. It is frightfully late, and really not much at all, but I would still like to give it to you.

I am... surprised that anyone in this castle managed to notice the passage of my birthday. I actually feel... touched, if that's the right word.

The mysterious third option would be to come home with me for Christmas. I feel I should warn you, however, that my father is a bit on the mental side, my mother is the epitome of a mother hen, and my Uncle Jasper is coming for Christmas. He's very eccentric. If all of that doesn't frighten you off...I would lovelike to have you come.

I'm.. not saying that I don't want to. I'm merely... overwhelmed? An invitation like this and a birthday present in the same day... that may make this the most eventful day of my life so far.
